Marsha Ross presents the many layers of concern in the business of beekeeping through her plexiglass sculpture. Her illuminated panels show bees goiong about their business -  the industrious work of pollinating crops, and also the agri-business practices that put bees in danger. Her full-scale plexiglass hive symbolically shows a multi-layered view of bees and the threats to their future looming behind them.
